List of Funds
A fund is a separate trust with its own donors and philanthropic purpose. The funds held by the Sheridan County Community Foundation are invested with the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation (GNWKCF); however, donors may designate a different investment entity.
Establishing a Fund with us is a simple process. Our staff is committed to helping donors meet their charitable interests through the exploration of charitable giving vehicles, determining the appropriate fund type, or assisting with planned giving techniques.

This grant fund was established in March 2015 to allow qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations; or educational, governmental or religious institutes per IRS, to apply for funding assistance for projects intended for Sheridan County benefit.
Qualifying entities may apply online; grants are awarded through a competitive application process with a rolling deadline of the 1st of each month.
The Hansen Foundation has guaranteed additional rounds of funding to continue through 2021, providing continual county-wide participation in the Sheridan County Strategic Doing Initiative.
