FREE Movie Night at the Hoxie High School Auditorium
Time & Location
About the Event
The Sheridan County Community Foundation in conjunction with USD 412 Hoxie Community Schools and the local “Hoxie High School Auditorium Upgrades” Strategic Doing committee would like to invite the public to a free movie night at the auditorium on Saturday, May 22.
The movie night will include a “double feature” screening of two films: "Scoob!" a kids’ movie at 6 p.m. and "The Sandlot" following at 8 p.m.
Concessions will be available with sales supporting the second phase of the upgrades project to be focused on the replacement of the stage lighting. At this time, the committee is waiting on an updated quote for new lighting.
To help kick-off fundraising for the stage lighting rehaul, the Richardson Estate has graciously donated a beautiful hand-made quilt created by late and long-time Hoxie resident Harriet Richardson. Raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win the quilt as well as several other prizes. Full raffle details will be announced soon.
Donations towards phase two of the project are now being accepted.
