Karl joined the foundation in 2018 as the first-ever staff person. He handles the day-to-day management of the foundation, including web and social communications, spearheading the Strategic Doing and Planned Giving initiatives, assisting the board with meetings and grants management, hosting community events, and more.
​
He was named Executive Director effective January 2022.
