$5,475 in donations raised during inaugural GivingTuesday event

The Sheridan County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that $5,475.00 were raised during the inaugural GivingTuesday “day of giving” event held on Tuesday, Nov. 30.


Donors were able to stop by Bottle KAP Studios, 721 Main St, in Hoxie, throughout the day to make donations in support of their favorite area organizations.

“We would like to thank all donors who made contributions during our annual GivingTuesday event,” said SCCF Board Liaison Karl Pratt. “This world-wide initiative is truly inspiring, and we are eager to grow this event each year in Sheridan County as we come together to support the good work of our many area organizations.”

Recipient organizations include the following:

  • All Stars for Jesus (Christ Community Church) - $200.00

  • HAMA Food Pantry - $175.00

  • Hoxie Community Schools USD 412 - $50.00

  • Hoxie Elks Lodge 2415 - $1,250.00

  • Hoxie Golf Club - $500.00

  • Hoxie Recreation - $150.00

  • Indian Pride Booster Club - $100.00

  • Main Street Arts Council - $500.00

  • SCHS/HHS Alumni Association - $100.00

  • Sheridan County Amusement Co. - $450.00

  • Sheridan County Benefit Walk - $250.00

  • Sheridan County EMS - $300.00

  • Sheridan County Hospital - $750.00

  • Sheridan County Hospital Auxiliary - $300.00

  • Sheridan County Public Library - $350.00

  • St. Frances Cabrini Hoxie CYO/Jr CYO - $50.00

Funding to support of the Rock ‘N Recovery Family Event, to be held on September 20, 2025, that is designed to destigmatize addiction recovery. The all-day gathering will celebrate individuals living in long-term recovery while raising awareness that people can and do recover from substance use disorders.
