“With the addition of several more donations received this past week to our 2022 Match Month campaign, we are pleased to announce an updated final total of $66,975.00 raised,” said Sheridan County Community Foundation Executive Director Karl Pratt.
More than 80 donors contributed to this year’s campaign which has been sponsored annually by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, Logan, for the past seven years.
The Hansen Foundation will be providing $50k in matching funds which, along with the locally raised funds, will be added to SCCF’s large endowment fund: Cultivate Sheridan County.
“As a bonus incentive for reaching our local fundraising goal, the Hansen Foundation will also generously be providing an additional $45k to SCCF’s operating endowment fund and $5k to our immediate operating needs,” noted Pratt.
This year’s campaign is helping SCCF grow the Cultivate Sheridan County Fund ever closer to $1 million in principal endowment funds before it is opened for grant applications to area organizations in support of their various events, projects, and activities in benefit of those in the county.
“Thank you again to the amazing donors who have helped us reach and surpass our Match Month goal, as well as the Hansen Foundation for their incredible support and investment in helping our local foundation become more and more sustainable for the betterment of Sheridan County now and into the future!” said Pratt.
