Foundation moves office and changes email address

The Sheridan County Community Foundation has moved its offices into the Eland & Law Pratt Law Office, 736 Main St, Hoxie.


The foundation will share business hours with the law office: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed from 12-1 p.m.) and Friday 9 a.m. to noon; or by special appointment.


Donors and other guests are welcome to stop by or make an appointment to visit Executive Director Karl Pratt at the new location to assist with fulfilling philanthropic wishes, learning more about grant opportunities, connecting you and your business to a variety of educational and financial resources, and more.



Pratt can also be reached via a new email address, director@growsheridancounty.org, or by calling 785-675-1240.


SCCF is an affiliate of the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation based in Bird City. The foundation seeks to encourage, prudently manage, and distribute charitable contributions to improve the quality of life of Sheridan County residents, now and in the future. Funding to support of the Rock ‘N Recovery Family Event, to be held on September 20, 2025, that is designed to destigmatize addiction recovery. The all-day gathering will celebrate individuals living in long-term recovery while raising awareness that people can and do recover from substance use disorders.
