The public is invited to join the staff and board members of the Sheridan County Community Foundation this Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hoxie Scout House, 1401 Sheridan Ave, for the Sheridan County Strategic Doing Community Meeting.

Betty Johnson, a consultant with the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, Logan, will be in attendance to facilitate the meeting which will include an overall of the Strategic Doing Process, why we are using it, and how we can use it to effect positive change, and a recap of past Strategic Doing projects.

Johnson will also lead attendees through a SWOT analysis to determine current ‘strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats,’ with the end goal of developing and/or rebooting committees to begin working on new project ideas and/or rebooting stalled or past ideas with new energy.

All in the area who are excited and energized to get involved are encouraged to attend. Area organizations working on existing projects or in the development of new projects, programs and/or ideas are also highly encouraged to attend to learn more about the Strategic Doing process and how it can help move projects forward from beginning to end
